Janet Groene (GRAYnee) has been an SATW member since 1986 and a full-time freelance even longer. She has authored more than 25 books and thousands of magazine features and columns.

Her many honors include a Gold Award from Parenting Publications of America, the NMMA Directors Award and the Distinguished Achievement in RV Journalism Award. Groene specialties include the Southeastern U.S. and the Caribbean, specialty cruises and cultural travel.
